I've been involved in trading since 2005 & I've tried everything from futures to covered calls. There are as many different ways to trade or invest as you are able to imagine. What is important is to understand your personality and what will suit you in your investment or trading strategy. For example if you are concerned about the environmental impact of mining you probably will want to avoid commodities that trade in gold/silver/ oil etc. But you find ample opportunities in solar & the alternative energy sector.
